Ross Nobel
Ross Nobel's voice is often compared to Eric Clapton and for his
song writing inspiration he draws on masters such as Paul McCartney
and Randy Newman.
The
sound palette of both the Upright Man albums is greatly influenced
by Ross' love of gospel and blues. The "black tinged"
backing vocals as well as the bluesy honky tonk piano lend a devotional
quality to many of his songs without making them specifically religious.
As he has been inspired to write them he hopes they'll inspire others
when listening to them.
Ross has supported major USA acts such as the Neville Brothers.
He writes songs for film, TV and theatre.
Upright Man Vol 2 is Ross Nobel's fourth solo album.
Please enjoy listening to Upright
Man and Upright
Man Vol 2. Both albums are also available
for purchase.
